Jayhawk Performance is a youth strength and conditioning and research program within the University of Kansas Well-Fit Center. Our programs focus on developing healthy, fit, strong, and resilient young athletes using the tenets of long-term athletic development. We also act as an educational and research hub for students, coaches, parents, and others working with young athletes.

Elementary Athletic Development

Designed for elementary aged athletes looking to develop healthy lifestyle habits and to learn the FUNdamentals of weight training.

Learn to Lift

Designed for elementary, middle and high school aged athletes looking to learn how to lift weights with proper form. All athletes will receive instruction on how to perform squats, bench press, deadlifts, and Olympic weightlifting variations.

Fall Open House

Well-Fit and Jayhawk Performance invite members of the community to join us on XXXX for an Open House. We will introduce our programs and showcase our new Youth Exercise and Sport Center.

Athletic Performance Testing 

Jayhawk Performance offers Athletic Performance Testing outside our program schedule. This includes anthropometrics, flexibility, strength, power, and speed.
